West Vale to Buckstones

West Vale to Buckstones climb offers valley floor to the areas local high point at Buckstones. Covering 7.6 miles this is a long climb with a few rest points as the road flattens. The average gradient of the climb is only 2.7% but there are a few sections where the road kicks up. From Ringstone Reservoir to Buckstones a northerly wind can make the climb more challenging. Climb status hard (Red) and (Cat 2).
