The race will start on Friday 1 May along the beautiful east coast from Bridlington to Scarborough. On day 2 it will venture from Selby to end in a circuit around York. The day will also include a women’s race.
On Sunday 3 May the race will set off in Wakefield and end in Leeds travelling via Calderdale, descending through Ripponden, down Cragg Vale (the longest continuous decline in England), before travelling through Mytholmroyd and leaving the region via Hebden Bridge. There will also be a mass participation sportive on day 3 - more details will be announced shortly.

On the 23rd May 2015 seven local mountain bikers will head to the Calderdale hills on an epic 152 mile mountain bike ride raising money for Bipolar UK. The team will be riding at their own pace and welcome fellow riders to join them on sections of The Calderdale Big Dog. The riders will leave the Stubbing Wharf, Hebden Bridge at 12pm and aim to maintain an 8mph average that will see the septet return to the Stubbing Wharf on Sunday morning around 8:35am subject to mechanics and the estimated speed.
