‚ÄčThank You

Firstly thank you for everyone that attended the first External Advisory Group meeting setup to support the delivery of the Calderdale Cycling Strategy. It was fantastic to see people supporting cycling from a number of different areas from the road, greenways, off road community and beyond.

Here are the meetings minutes from Jan 2018. The next meeting will take place 16th April 2018.

The Cycling Chair

The future of cycling is growing and this is your chance to have your say on how the Cycling Strategy develops through the External Advisory Group. Firstly we are looking to appoint a Chair Person for the External Advisory Group who has an interest in cycling and developing cycling to support the Calderdale Cycling Strategy. Candidates that are interested should email for more information or to put themselves forward for the position. The post is voluntary and will require attending four meetings per year. Candidates that have put themselves forward will be required to present a short 5 minute presentation on why they are suitable for the post. As the group agreed a rotating chair there maybe more than one person appointed to the post. Presentations will take place at the meeting 16th April 2018.

Setting the Agenda

As an action the group agreed to vote the top 5 objectives from 71 and email with a list of the top 5 and the relevant code. click here for a list of objectives. To have your say simply view the objectives, pick your top 5 and email them. This process will close on 9th April and determine the agenda for the next meeting.

Thank you for support the Calderdale Cycling Strategy
