Ever feel lacking in motivation? Do you sometimes feel like your life is missing a challenge?
On Friday 10th March, Paralympian, double gold medallist and MBE Steve Bate is giving a talk up at the Craggs about his life, about his experiences pre and post the 2016 Rio Games, and where his next challenge may lie.
Steve’s story makes for compelling listening; Having been suddenly told he could be blind in 3 years, he decided to attempt to represent GB in the next Paralympics in a sport he’d never even tried. His drive and passion for life are an inspiration and it’s hoped that some of his determination will rub off on us lesser mortals.
Everyone welcome, adults and children - anyone who’s interested in what it takes to be the best you can be.
There’ll be a Craggies Special Pie and Pea supper and Little Valley Brewery are supplying locally brewed beer for the occasion! (adults only…)
